How the course works

Each lecture includes a clinical correlation (public health, diseases, diagnostic tests), teaching that day's toping through a case study related to that topic.

Students follow along with the analysis, writing the code themselves using our code worksheets, reinforicng the syntax and teaching real-time troubleshooting.

Lectures cover data cleaning, data vizualization and graphing, and statistics from descriptive metrics to advanced regression.

Office hours accompany every lecture to support students as they work through the material.

COURSE CAPSTONE

Poster Symposium

After completing the course, students present their projects at a poster symposium. The capstone brings together their analysis, figures, and findings in a research poster and gives them an opportunity to explain their work.
